Awesome game!

Good job you guys. I am glad the "after the demo" part of the game was just an entertaining as the "demo" part. I liked the addition of the hitting the board to kill that one guy. I also still liked the way you incorporated the cursor as your all-purpose icon. I did think that the last guy was a bit hard due to the fact that the window of hit was way too small. But, he was the last guy...he had to be hard.

Anyway, I am glad that this lived up to the demo.

Keep it up!!!

Outraged-Josh responds:

Thanks RedCircle, youve wanted this, so here it is, glad you loved it, coz it took us some time. The last guy was supposed to be hard, it even took me a couple of trys. But Glad you enjoyed it:)

Hey, just wanted to review!

Well...I have played it up the point in which you all stopped making it. (Right after you connect the wires)

I have a few comments.

First, you really need to work on the graphics. Make each room unique and different. Give the backgrounds some style :) I would also suggest working on the graphics of the people. I *know* you can draw a person. Most of the people in this movie only have 1 pose, so it's not like you are animating some hard frame-by-frame stuff. Remember shading too!

Secondly, you might want to consider making your hit-test areas a bit larger. The doorknobs are especially small. It was a little aggrevating when the people you need to shoot are only able to be hit when they come out of hiding completely. You also give the player about a half of a second to react to the Ninjas (which was a little too short).

Thirdly, there is so much you can do with the story. You resorted to making it about ninjas that took over a restaurant. Although it's kinda funny, it isn't as serious as this game is. In the future, you should work on it.

Ok...now that the comments are out of the way, here is what I liked!

I really like the find the weird object to continue you path method. Very fun indeed! I also liked that when you die, you don't have to restart the WHOLE game over. You just go back to the previous room. This really helps in games where you only have 1 life. I also really liked how the music got serious after you saw the blood. It added a lot of mood. Got things off to a good start. So, good job on the music. Maybe when you get a little deeper in the compound, the music could change into something a little bit more dramatic. I liked the fact that your cursor was not only the gun, but the touch tool as well. That was cool!

Awesome work you two. NOW MAKE THE FULL VERSION!!! I am dying here!

Outraged-Josh responds:

Thanks for the HUGE review. The doorknobs did piss ppl off, and we have made the diameter bigger so its easier to open. Those pointers we will try and work on. Kool review with all the critism and good points about the game. Right now im checking for more bugs.

Just gets weirder down the list.

Yeah, I have to say that was not so fun.

Although a lot of animals heads and different bodies, it got kinda boring really quick.

I wish that there was a "blank" head where you could see what the real body's head looked like.

Still, you have got a really colorful style.

carmelhadinosaur responds:

Hehe i always like the movie full of colors ;)
I tried making an original dress up, altought i didnt put the actuall head of the chartacters body.. Hmm.. at least, again, the story is pretty original.. umm right? lol k (you cant reply XD) SO.. thx for reviewing!

What a cool tutorial.

Carmel...you have amazed me. This is one of the most elaborate tutorials I have ever seen.

Thank you for making a beginner and an advanced menu. I think that I will have to try them out. Well, I have to know how to make the world's best paper airplane, right?

Also, if nobody caught it, the songs were Linkin Park, done on piano...nice touch.

You sir, rule!

carmelhadinosaur responds:

Thank you RedCircle!!
I assumed alot never even heard of Origami so i made a smal background info, a short tutorial on how to follow the work and beginners option.. I think linkin park on piano was a great choice of music here and it fits great, cheers mate! I love making originals movies/games that i havent seen here before, thanks for the review! =)

Heh, coolness!!

First, I'm glad you picked a legendary character like Cartman to work with...He is so damn awesome.

I really liked that this was an all-in-one submission. A little bit of dress up, soundboard, and the kickass "find Cartman section".

There were 2 things that were a little annoying. One, the dress up was a bit too cluttered. Two, the find Cartman pieces didn't quite match up with the slots you allocated. Just letting you know.

Anyway, awesome stuff and totally fun!

carmelhadinosaur responds:

Hehe cartman is indeed awesome ;)
Yeah, all-in one is a great thing, it was also very smooth i believe..
I guess if i would have made the dress up now, it would have been much orginized...
The find the cartman pieces was made with basic AS so i didnt have much possibility to it better.. sorry..
Other than that:
Hehe thanks for the review RedCircle!

Always a pleasure doing business.

HAHA, that was fucking funny. Jeremy, you really know your shit.

Hey, $100 for a handjob.

You sir should be doing comedy work for TV.

Now, I am going back to play the game...again!

JeremyLokken responds:

Ha, I thought that was a funny moment too. If I got the chance to write for TV, I'd have to clean up some of the humor.

Excellent game.

Wish there were more levels.

The coding skills here are really good.

Gave you a 1 for Humor cause of that getting shot sound. Sounded like someone was throwing up. Ha..

Anyway, Excellent Job!!!

My final score was 15500!!!

Thanks for submitting it!

binaryflow responds:

yeah i wish there were more levels as well!.. i was going to include a level where u shoot, at one point you could shoot.. but the number of hittests involved with testing every bullet against every target ran into about 1400 hittests per second.. the game as is does almost 100 per second.. (although most a optimised) which is why i run it on low quality!

Pretty cool.

I should do something like this for my band.

I guess, like everyone keeps saying, the game needs to be larger so you can see whats coming outta the truck in time (and so you can see the tits).

Anyway, you should all use some of your music in the background during the game. Makes sense, huh?

Good job!!

PlasmicSteve responds:

Thanks guys - obviously people wanted the game to be larger, so I've increased the size. Hopefully that makes it more fun. I did have my band's music in the background but all the musical cues and sound effects were stepping on the songs and it sounded like audio mush...and without the game sound effects, it didn't feel as fun. So I figured I'd ditch the full songs and go with the sounds only, and people could go to our site and download songs if they're interested.

Enjoy, thanks for the feedback!

heh

I got a 9, I can live with that.

I would suggest you either tell us the controls on the front page, or somewhere in the game, cause I was trying to figure out how to move it.

Maybe different levels with more difficulty each level, what do you think?

Anyway, good job, pretty fun!

Goatchrist responds:

Oh, yeah, that's what I forgot, thanks.

Nice game!

I liked it. Simple, and peaceful.

I would have to ask that you increase the levels on more of a gradient.

Anyway, good job!

BoJoe-Studios responds:

Thanks for the comment
